Update #52 – Bring Your Own AI, One-Click Greetings, and Mobile Polish

Happy Year of the Horse! 🐴

We’ve been focused on removing friction and giving you more control over your AI stack. This update brings a major flexibility upgrade for power users, critical fixes for our mobile app, and a brand new tool for our White Label partners.

Here’s what’s new in this release:

  • Bring Your Own AI: You can now plug in your own API keys for Claude and ChatGPT. This gives you full control over the engine powering your chat, allowing you to manage usage and model preferences directly.
  • One-Click Greetings: New domains now launch with AI chat greetings automatically enabled. It’s instant engagement right out of the box—no manual setup required.
  • Consistent AI Profiles: We’ve polished the logic for when the AI profile appears during a chat initiation, ensuring a smoother visual experience for your visitors.
  • Smarter AI Hints: Under the Hood — We’ve added automatic AI hint generation. This works in the background to guide the AI toward better answers without you needing to micromanage the context.
  • iOS Auto-Correct Fix: We resolved a defect where the text field wasn’t respecting auto-correct on iOS. Typing on the go should feel much more natural now.
  • Multitasking Stability: Fixed an issue where switching apps on iOS while the keyboard was open rendered the app unusable. Multitask away—ChipBot will be ready when you switch back.
  • Auto-Open Logic: The auto-open rule now strictly respects your enabled features and their specific order. No more surprises—the widget behaves exactly how you configured it.
  • Help Desk Navigation: Fixed a bug where a tile wouldn’t link to a folder if only one folder existed. Navigation is now seamless, regardless of how much content you have.
  • AI Video Libraries: You can now generate your own video library using AI. This is a massive time-saver for setting up new clients or fleshing out content quickly.
